Direa 

Mavlab Direa tablets can be used as an aid in the management of diarrhoea caused by disorders of osmosis, secretion, permeability or motility, brought about by infectious agents, food poisoning, dietary changes and bacterial overgrowth. 

Direa is not a motility modulator. It is a complexing agent that absorbs toxins but also absorbs water to form a gel. Direa tablets can be used alone or in conjunction with antibiotics and fluid and electrolyte therapy.

DIRECTIONS OF USE

Dosage :

• 1 Tablet / 10-20 kg body weight in dogs
• 1/4 Tablet / 2.5-5 kg body weight in cats

Veterinary advice should be sought for animals that exhibit signs of illness other than diarrhoea, including blood-stained faeces or if diarrhoea persists after 3 days of treatment with this product
